Some of the rumply fanfair to be found at Baltray, home to the County Louth Golf Club, a wee bit north of Dublin.  This Tom Simpson design has gained more notoriety in recent years and an accompanying renovation, and must always fall in the category of ‘Links That Make You Smile.’  Baltray doesn’t have the views of its big brother links around the Emerald Isle, but don’t be caught at a parkland course with 100km if a game can be arranged here.
