A View into the Golf Club at the Hotel 1000
The Hotel 1000 is located just a few blocks south of Pikes Place Market in downtown Seattle. The rooms are modern and sleek and the service is outstanding. But that’s not why it is showing up on this golf website. The Hotel 1000 is the home to a Golf Club which consists of two golf simulators. (Video after the jump)

The video shows the Golf Club. This is a great amenity that really pushes the hotel over the top. For anyone traveling out to Seattle to play Chambers Bay, I highly recommend staying at this hotel and driving about an hour down the sound to golf. The 2010 U.S. Amateur and 2015 U.S. Open are heading to Chambers, and this would be a marvelous home base from which to attend the events and explore the region.- W.S.
N.B. The food at the Hotel 1000 is good, but make sure you stroll up the hill to the market, which is a gourmand’s dream. For sit-down dining, don’t miss Matt’s in the Market, a fabulous restaurant that overlooks the iconic neon Market sign. Using fresh ingredients from the market next door, Matt’s delivers dish after dish of delectable food.
